    Our market is on fire, and the number of people moving to middle Tennessee far outweighs the number of homes on the market. This level of demand and shortage of supply is putting an upward pressure on pricing, thus making it difficult for people to find homes.

    We’re hearing much of the same news from other agents around the country. Because of these conditions, people can’t move. For our team, though, the situation is different. There are a few things we do differently that help our clients succeed.

    For buyers who are looking to make a move but can’t find a home, we look for homes that currently aren’t on the market. We also conduct a buyer’s consultation to find out what home they want to buy, what neighborhood they want to live in, and what school district they want their children attending so we can pair it with homes that aren’t on the market. We’re finding homes that don’t have a sign in their yard are more valuable than homes that do.

    If you’re thinking about making a move, we do things differently.

     

    We have full-time employees who call the closest 200 to 300 homeowners in the desired area and ask them if they’ve ever considered selling their house. If so, we inform them that we have a buyer that may be interested in buying that home. We also mail out thousands of homebuyer letters each month for our clients who are looking to live in specific neighborhoods.

    Lastly, our agents get out there and go door to door with information about you and the home you’re looking for. We talk face to face with anyone who might be interested in selling you their home. Though this has led to massive success for us, we don’t see many other Realty companies around the area employ these kinds of tactics.
